Where was Osama bin Laden's body buried?
Osama bin Laden's body was buried in the North Arabian Sea. He was buried at sea off the deck of the USS Carl Vinson. An hour long ceremony aboard the USS Carl Vinson was conducted in accord with Islamic law.
Under Islamic tradition, burial at sea is considered totally inappropriate when other preferred forms of burial are available. Several prominent Islamic clerics criticized the decision on how bin Laden was buried. Mohamed Ahmed el-Tayeb, the head of Al-Azhar University, said the disposal of the body at sea was an affront to religious and human values.
Turning to the overall world view, all steps with the burial were seen as appropriate.

At least he got a burial, don't know why some people are complaining. I would have thrown his carcass to the wolves but even that is too good for this murdering scumbag.

It seems to me the US did the right thing. What other "preferred forms of burial" would have been available? Getting permission from many of Muslim countries could have been problematic as they wouldn't want where Bin Laden was buried to become a site of worship and veneration by extremists. Most Muslim countries if not all might not want to be associated with him and who could blame them. The US wouldn't have wanted him brought back to the US as that could and almost certainly would have caused all sorts of problems. It might have been different had he been captured as then he could come back to the US to stand trial and join his compatriot Khalid bin Mohamed at Gitmo.

He was buried at sea so that his grave could not be made into a shrine. He was a terrorist and he deserved exactly what he got. Don't ever forget, he also killed a lot of Muslims, too.

There can be NO correct answer to this question as there is no definative information. The burial was kept secret and most evidence actually points to burial in the Indian Ocean. This question shouldn't have passed the screeners since there are only guesses and rumors as to the exact location of the disposal site.
