Satipo is a minor antagonist in the 1981 film "Raiders of the Lost Ark". He is a Peruvian guide and thief who, along with his partner Barranca and several porters, help guide American archaeologist Indiana Jones to the Temple of the Chachapoyan Warriors in 1936. Satipo is portrayed by Alfred Molina and the role has the distinction of being the first big film role of Molina's acting career. The role of Satipo at the beginning of the film is small; it becomes iconic.

Satipo and Barranca like to run scams in South American. The two men are hired by Indiana Jones to guide him and to help him learn about the fate of a competitor. Jones has also asked Satipo to help him, if possible, to retrieve a golden idol which is said to be in the Peruvian jungle.

Molina (b. May 1953 in London, England), is a British-American actor. His father was born in Spain and his mother was born in Italy. He was motivated to become an actor as early as 9 years old.
