Which animal is smaller than a mouse at birth?

The newborns of the Giant Panda are actually these tiny pink and bald baby beasts. They weigh around three to five ounces. They are smaller than a mouse and are as far from fluffy and cute as possible. There are no black markings on their body or around their eyes. They still do have some springs of white hair, but their fur grows during the first two months after they are born.

I happen to know that because the first of my two daughters is a passionate of this animal. She has portraits and painted this animal on all murals in her schools- elementary, middle, and High School, in her bed room. That has been since very early in age.

I always thought that a baby kangaroo (joey) was only the size of a peanut at birth therefore even smaller than a panda, but that was not one of the options … why ?
