Check your stats DVD man, Beatles broke up in 1970. They weren't together in 1974. Where did you get that from?

Oh dear, oh dear. We're told twice that the song is from 1967, told that the song is early Beatles (it isn't, it's one of the later ones), that they broke up in 1974 (it was 1970), that they lasted decades (it was less than one decade) and that there was a band called The Monkeys (it was The Monkees). Absolutely lamentable.

The Beatles formed as a group in 1960. By 1970, just after Let It Be, they had broken up. That was 10 years. A single decade; NOT "several decades" as stated here. McCartney had already released the album, McCartney", in 1970 and Ram in 1971 just prior to forming the group, Wings, with his wife Linda.

There are a lot of errors here. They stayed together for several decades? Define "several." Last time I read they were formed when they are teens (probably late 50's, say circa 1957 or 1958 then hit it big in 1962/63). They also sold way more records than those numbers. They have more than 1 billion singles sales and counting and probably more than 200 million albums in the US alone.
