Which calendar do Orthodox Christians follow this day?
January, 7: Orthodox Christmas Day
Orthodox Christians follow the Julian calendar which places the day on January 7. The majority of Christians follow the modern day Gregorian Calendar which places Christmas on December 25. In the Orthodox tradition, a 40-day fast occurs before the Nativity of Our Lord. The faithful abstain from foods derived from animals on Wednesdays and Fridays. Sundays beforehand honor the old covenant between God and Abraham and the new covenant between God and those who believe in Christ.

Look up Julian Date it is in the format DDD/YY.
And who are these "Orthodox Christians"?
I have been in the church all my life and studied religion and never heard of this belief system

The point "loss" thing has happened to me too, but I answered Gregorian on this quiz, and maybe that is the problem. Julian is the wrong answer and its the issue on their end. Now, I wonder how many times this has happened and if I am answering correctly and really wrong?

The veil was torn....and by no means was there any such feast prior to Jesus birth making this
claim unbiblical.
Joseph, Mary and others had to
leave and travel to Bethlehem before Jesus birth to be counted. The people were not celebrating besides there is no
documented account of any
such feast....
