Foxwoods is New England's largest casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. It was once the largest casino in the world. It remains one of the largest casinos in the United States; it is second only to WinStar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.

Foxwoods Resort Casino is a hotel and casino complex owned and operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation on their reservation. The tribal land is located in Ledyard, Connecticut. Including six casinos, the resort covers an area of 9,000,000 square feet (840,000 square meters). Notwithstanding the facts, this casino resort in Connecticut still isn’t quite as well known or as popular as some places in Atlantic City, New Jersey or Las Vegas, Nevada. Foxwoods keeps a low national profile.

As an alternative to other locations except for WinStar, Foxwoods dwarfs all of the biggest casino establishments which are currently operating within the U.S. It is a place where people find just about any type of gaming venue. It has blackjack, craps, roulette, poker, and more than 5,500 slot machines. Also, Foxwoods is known for its "bingo rooms" that are more active than ones which are ordinarily found in all or most of the major casinos throughout the world.
