"Bierwelt" is German for "beer world". In Abensberg, Germany, there is a "world of beer", on the grounds of the Kuchlbauer Brewery. It is called Kuchlbauer's Bierwelt (Kuchlbauer's Beer World). It has an impressive beer garden; But, it also has other super-neat things, like a craggy 115 ft tower topped with a 32 ft wide gold-plated observation ball that weighs 26,455 lbs. The view from the golden orb is great, a person can see the entire (beer) world from its gilded confines.

Besides the beer garden and tower with the golden-tipped ball, a visit to Bierwelt includes a complete tour of the Kuchlbauer Brewery. On the tour, there is a chance to explore a number of assorted strange things, like a wall constructed from actual beer bottles. Plus, there is the 115 ft observation tower whose inside is filled with a fun collection of over 4200 weissbier glasses.

So, when people visit Abensberg and Kuchlbauer's Bierwelt, the Kuchlbauer Tower (a colorful and unconventional observation tower designed by Viennese architect Friedensreich Hundertwasser) is an essential item to see. It can make a trip very memorable. To help, the brewery and tower are continuously open to the public all year round.
