Short term profits are destroying the incomparable wealth of the rainforest. When the jungles are gone, we not only have lost all that life, we are going to lose our own from lack of oxygen. Serves us right.

narrowscanoe, Yes, I also thought Brazil was the most plausible option.

I am not 100% sure about the answer but I used my prior knowledge to determine the most likely answer - part of Canada and Russia would be covered by the tundra due to their location far north and Australia is mostly covered by desert hence these three options are less likely; on the other hand, Brazil is home to the Amazon rainforest, hence decidedly the most probable option.
