I also agree it was Chocolate NOT vanilla, honestly this can be very frustrating when a person KNOWS the correct answer and then QC says no no no it’s this answer and then we lose points!! UGH!!

Chocolate was invented in Naples in 1692, where as vanilla came latter on. Time for QC to research these topics before these questions with a life of their own. After all, QC"s answer is given as 18th century . . . just off a bit (wrong century and product). Stop the tardiness and look up the real facts QC

What are you doing? Chocolate ice cream came first around 1693. The french did not develop the nella ice cream until around 1750.
