Which is the name of the largest fire in California of the last 100 years?
The wildfire began on the 26th of October, 2003
A wildfire is one of the most terrifying phenomena. The sad thing is that it is almost always caused by a human (directly or indirectly).
So, the infamous California's wildfire burned a huge area within a few days. It was one of 15 wildfires which became known as the "2003 Firestorm". The fire consumed a total of 800,000 acres and killed 15 people!

They shouldn't say ALWAYS. Lightening has caused many.fires and people.have No conttol.over that. That said, people can and are irresponsible at times and cause "most" of the fires.

This is one example of why a source needs to be included if a writer is going to paraphrase. In the context of the NatGeo article, the wildfires in question occurred in Southern California and Cal Fire says that most of *those* fires have a human component.
