EuroAirport serves three cities in three separate countries, Basel (CH), Mulhouse (F) and Freiburg (D). It has the IATA codes BSL, MLH and EAP.

It is one of the only airports in the world administered by two countries, France and Switzerland. The airport is wholly on French soil, however it has a Swiss customs area. It is connected to Switzerland by a 2.5km. / 1.6 mi. customs road allowing travellers direct access to Switzerland without necessitating French border control. Since 2008, when Switzerland acceded to the Schengen visa agreement, inter-terminal access has been relaxed for travellers.

The airport's board has 18 representatives, 8 from France and Switzerland respectively and 2 advisors from Germany. Passenger numbers have been increasing steadily to approximately 8 million in 2017.

Geneva airport serves both southwestern Switzerland and the Alpine region of France but is located and administered solely by Switzerland, although the edge of the runway borders France.

Luxembourg airport serves Luxembourg, western Germany and northeastern France. Similar to Geneva airport, it it located and administered by Luxembourg.

Nicosia airport no longer admits international flights and was closed to the public following the UN intervention in Cyprus in 1974. It is located within the Green Line area administered by the UN to the west of Nicosia. There have been suggestions the airport could be reopened in the future or developed into a customs free zone.
