The Buffalo Bills of New York have the distinction of being the only team to advance to four consecutive Super Bowls; it also has the dubious distinction of losing all four of the Super Bowl games. In 1990, 1991, 1992 and 1993, the Bills played in Super Bowl XXV, XXVI, XXVII and XXVIII respectively. They lost to the New York Giants, the Washington Redskins and the Dallas Cowboys. Finally, in a rematch with the Cowboys in Super Bowl XXVIII, they lost their fourth straight title game.

Marv Levy was the head coach of the Buffalo Bills from 1986 to 1997. He was the coached of the Bills who took his team to four consecutive American Football Conference championships.

But, he never won a Super Bowl championship. With his high powered "no huddle" offense, Levy's Bills has been the only team to have a head coach to make it to four consecutive Super Bowl games and lose all four.

In 2001, Marv Levy was aptly elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
