Although pterodactyls lived around the same time as dinosaurs, they are not considered dinosaurs. They were not birds, rather they were flying reptiles. The reptiles were also known as pterosaurs. Unlike most reptiles that are cold-blooded, the pterodactyls were warm blooded. Their bodies could even generate heat.
Pterodactyls were located in various parts of the world including China, Germany, and America. Physically, the pterodactyls were quite different from dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were very large and huge in size. Pterodactyls had long necks with throat pouches used for hunting their prey. They also possessed long skulls and needle-like teeth.

i cant find any information that Dinosaurs had mammary glands, that would be the key factor when calling an animal a mammal.

The text did not say that dinosaurs were mammals, just warm blooded. their ancestors Birds are warm blooded egg layers.

It's certainly hard to determine exactly what an animal was like if you only have skeletal remains. However, there were certainly some dinosaurs that were not "large and huge". There are even some schools of thought that believe that some dinosaurs were fur-bearing. (Maybe more of us need to take time to help with the research of some of these questions, so that the answers are accurate.)

I knew pterodactyls were flying reptiles but I did not know they were warm blooded. And I did not think dinosaurs were mammals. I thought all of their young came from eggs - which would indicate reptiles.

Steven Ernest Scott, The high water certainly made it easier for Norman to do his conquesting but then 1066 was an especially wet year. As for plants making oxygen, freshen up the CO2 is more like it. The explanation is as goofy as some of the comments!

Actually I believe that the definition of a mammal is having a hairy skin, some other creatures produce milk (or something like it) but still dinosaurs were/are reptiles - the latest theory is that the birds are direct descendants.

All four are considered dinosaurs, but the difference is that only one of the four is warm-blooded. That should have been in the question. I got it right only because it was the only one that flies. Figured that must make a difference.
