Which of these works by William Saroyan was published first?
William Saroyan is a famous American writer. There is no genre in literature he didn't try his hand. He wrote novels, plays and short stories. He was a born story-teller. His stories are vivid, exciting and tragi-comic pictures of life. But no matter what Saroyan wrote about, the subject matter of his stories was the dignity of man. His stories are full of compassion for those who have to bear the injustices of life.
The story 'The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze' was first puplished in 1934 in Story Magazine.

Got it wrong. His first play, My Heart’s in the Highlands, was produced in 1939. A bit misleading. Better if My Heart's in the Highlands wasn't an answer option. Whatever. Def heard of the dude. But I'm also in California. His stomping grounds are not too far (all within 90 minutes) from my 'hood.

this is wrong the first to be published is actually My hearts in the Highlands. Having said that the first of these to be published is My name is Aram. Published in 1940. The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze, was published is actually, After Thirty Years: The Daring Young Man on the Flying Trapeze was published in 1964
