Which of these movie stars was not a veteran of military service?
Although all four actors played outstanding roles as Silver Screen Military Heroes, John Wayne was the only one of the four listed actors who was not a veteran of military service.
He received a 3-A deferment for family dependency because he had 4 children but went on to star in 13 wartime movies, ending with "The Green Berets" in 1968.
Some called him a draft dodger, but Wayne was in fact a Patriot who toured with the USO countless times.
Clint Eastwood served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Chuck Norris served in the US Air Force right after graduating from High School.
George C. Scott, who played Gen. George S. Patton in the epic war movie "Patton," served in the U.S. Marines for four years.

John Wayne tried to enlist in the Navy but was not accepted and if I remember Clint Eastwood served but never left California.
