Which of these weekdays is named after a Norse god of war?

Monday: The name comes from the Anglo-Saxon monandaeg, "the moon's day". This second day was sacred to the goddess of the moon.

Wednesday: The day named to honor Wodan (Odin).

Friday: The day in honor of the Norse goddess Frigg.

All is the correct answer, freya for Friday, odin ( or wodin) for Wednesday, thors day is Thursday, bla bla bla

Freyja, goddess associated with love, beauty, fertility, gold, seiðr, war, and death Odin, god associated with wisdom, war, battle, and death Thor, god associated with thunder, strength, defense, oaks, goats, lightning, storms, weather, crops, trading voyages, courage, trust, revenge, protection, warfare, and battles Týr, god associated with honor, law (the "Allthing"), justice in battle, victory, and heroic glory Ullr, god associated with archery, male beauty, skiing, winter sports, single combat, and war. Given this information, Odin or Freyja (Wednesday, Friday(?)) would be more appropriate than Tyr.

Another wrong answer ,,, Tuesday is named after the Roman God of war whereas Oden is the pagan god of war being Wednesday... so many ignorant people around the world take that the English language has been around forever when in fact it is actually a babe in arms compared to other languages ... please vet these questions as it is starting to follow Facebook...

Apparently Saturday is named for Saturn, Sunday for the sun, Monday for the moon, Tuesday for Tiw, Wednesday for Woden, Thursday for Thor, and Friday for Freya.
