Catwoman is a character created by Bill Finger and Bob Kane who appears in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the superhero Batman. In the 1966 live-action TV series "Batman", Catwoman is portrayed by Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt. Newmar portrayed Catwoman in the first and second season; Kitt portrayed her in the third season. The big screen feature film credits Lee Meriwether as both Catwoman and Miss Kitka. All three of these specific Catwoman incarnations are described by comic writer, Marc Andreyko.

Regarding the late Carolyn Jones, she was a famous film and TV actress who portrayed Marsha, Queen of Diamonds in five episodes of the "Batman" 1960s TV series. She was born on April 28, 1930 in Amarillo, Texas; she died on August 3, 1983 of colon cancer in West Hollywood, California. Jones is best known for her role of Morticia Addams in "The Addams Family" TV series, which she portrayed alongside John Astin (Gomez Addams) and Ted Cassidy (Lurch). These men also appeared in the "Batman" 1960s series where Ted (Lurch) reprised his role for a Bat-climb cameo and John guest starred as The Riddler.

Additionally, by the end of the 1950s, Carolyn Jones had achieved major film star recognition with a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in "The Bachelor Party" (1957). In 1959, she then received a Golden Globe Award as a promising new actresses. Her big screen career continued until the end of the 1970s.
