Which one of these Mexican states does not share a border with the USA?
From East to West the Mexican states that border the USA are Tamaulipas, Nuevo León, Coahuila, Chihuahua, Sonora, and Baja California.
However, Baja California Sur is a separate state from Baja California, lying to the south of Baja California, the only state with which it has a land border. Baja California Sur is one of the newest Mexican states (founded on 8 October 1974) and has no land border with the USA.
To locate this state on a map find the long finger-shaped Baja California Peninsula on the west coast of Mexico: Baja California Sur occupies the southern half of this peninsula, south of the 28th parallel.
