The TV show ("The Bugaloos") which was a live-action Saturday morning kids' show that aired on NBC was created from ideas and the imaginations of the show's producers Sid and Marty Krofft. In the Krofft universe, there were young heroes, goofy puppets, great songs, and many many laughs.

It was a show about a rock band quartet comprised of four half-human, half-insect teenagers who had decided they wanted to live a peaceful, soft rock harmony-filled life in a place called the Tranquility Forest. Along with having the Tranquility Forest, "The Bugaloos" featured the comic villainy of Benita Bizarre, the lovable neuroses of Sparky the Firefly, and the musical virtuosity of the four British insects named Courage, Harmony, I.Q. and Joy.

The 4 British actors who served as the main cast were the heart of the show. They had been told by Sid and Marty that they had been hired to capitalize upon the popularity of the "Beatles". The key characters here believed that they had auditioned for a British version of the American show, "The Monkees". This was a funny belief because in reality "The Monkees" had been created as an American TV version of the "Beatles". Nonetheless this kids' show did meet with good success.

The three of the four Bugaloos who were Big John, Little John Caroline and Wayne were ready to make more albums and a movie. Sadly it didn't happen and all the Bugaloos decided to live in England. They went on with their lives along with the rest of the cast.
