"Garrison's Gorillas" is an ABC TV war action series that originally ran from 1967 to 1968. It had a total of 26 hour-long episodes which were produced for TV. This is the series that was inspired by the 1967 film "The Dirty Dozen", which featured a similar scenario of training Allied prisoners for World War II military missions.
In 1988, FOX again aired a short-lived television series which was very similar to "Garrison's Gorillas". Among the guest stars were Rudy Solari and Christopher Cary, they had appeared in the Garrison show and played character support roles in several of the 11 TV drama episodes on the FOX show.
