On the TV show "Lost in Space" and in the classic movie musical "The Sound of Music", it is Angela Cartwright who is best known as a child actress who played Brigitta Von Trapp in the Academy Award winning film "The Sound of Music" (1965) and for her role as Penny Robinson in the 1960s television series "Lost in Space".

Angela was born in England, and she is the younger sister of actress Veronica Cartwright. As a child she had her first acting job as the cute little stepdaughter (Linda Williams) on the show "Make Room for Daddy". She was able to perform as an actress from the '50s until the start of the 1970s. In 1970 Angela had a part in "Make Room for Granddaddy" (1970). This was a sequel to the original series, but the show had a short life and was soon canceled. Since that time, she has made a life outside of performing in films or on TV.
