Sir Sean Connery is best known for playing James Bond, and he has truly had some iconic lines since he first starred as Bond. Connery (born Thomas Connery, August 1930 – October 2020) was a Scottish actor. He was the first actor to portray the fictional British secret agent James Bond; he starred in 7 Bond films between 1962 and 1983. Originating the role in "Dr. No", Connery played Bond in 6 of Eon Productions' entries and made his final appearance in "Never Say Never Again".

Connery as Bond delivered the silly line, “Shocking! Positively shocking!” in the 1964 film "Goldfinger". Right when Bond starts to make out with a girl, he sees the reflection of a bad guy in her eye. Bond quickly turns the girl around so she gets hit in the head versus himself and then he starts to fight the henchman. Bond quickly gets the upper hand and shoves the thug in the tub, before swatting a lamp into the tub, electrocuting his enemy. The line “Shocking! Positively shocking!” was perfect for the scene and proves that nobody can deliver 007 puns better than Connery.

Not only is "Goldfinger" considered one of the greatest and exciting 007 movies of all time, but the movie remains well liked for the prior pun and another one where Bond says to a friend after he gets a new bottle of alcohol, “My dear girl, there are some things that just aren't done; such as drinking Dom Perignon '53 above the temperature of 38 degrees Fahrenheit. That's as bad as listening to the Beatles without earmuffs”.
