Who attended the Mad Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland?
The mad tea party is described in Chapter VII of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. Alice leaves the Cheshire cat and comes to the house of the March Hare. Outside his house, a table was set out for tea and the March Hare and the Mad Hatter were sitting down for tea with a dormouse between them, fast asleep. Alice sits down at one end of the table, but the Mad Hatter and March Hare shout "no room, no room" when they are just crowded on one side and there is plenty of room.
The conversation that ensues is hilarious and ultimately very confusing to Alice. She walks away in a huff and promises to never return there.
