Who directed the comedy film "White Cat, Black Cat"??
Emir Kusturica is a Serb filmmaker, actor, and musician. He has been recognized for several internationally acclaimed feature films, as well as his projects in town-building. He has competed at the Cannes Film Festival on five occasions and won the Palme d'Or twice, as well as the Best Director prize for "Time of the Gypsies".
In 1998, he won the Venice Film Festival's Silver Lion for Best Direction for "Black Cat, White Cat", a farcical comedy set in a Gypsy (Romany) settlement on the banks of the Danube. The music for the film was composed by the Belgrade-based band "No Smoking Orchestra".

There is no such film called "White Black Cat, Black Cat" but there is one called "Black Cat, White Cat"! Get the title right at least!

One of the directors I automatically see in theatres and then buy on DVD. Like John Dayles or Ang Lee he is a masterful storyteller.

In the second paragraph the author admits the correct name is "Black cat, White cat. So be consistent and phrase the question accordingly.

jcdangusa, you are right. The original title in Serbian is "Crna mačka, beli mačor", which means “ Black Cat, White Cat“.
