Who is actress Liv Rundgren Tyler's biological father?

Liv Rundgren Tyler, (born Liv Rundgren July 1, 1977) is an American actress, producer, singer and former model. She began modeling at age fourteen, later deciding to focus on acting. She achieved critical recognition in several roles.

She played "Arwen" in the "Lord of the Rings" film trilogy (2001–2003), one of the highest-grossing film series in history.

She is the only daughter of Bebe Buell, (born July 14, 1953) a model, singer, and former Playboy Playmate (Miss November 1974), and Steven Tyler (born March 26, 1948), the lead singer of Aerosmith.

From birth until age ten or eleven Liv believed that musician Todd Rundgren (born June 22, 1948) was her biological father. Buell and Rundgren lived together from 1972 -1979. In 1976, Buell became pregnant from a brief relationship with Steven Tyler. She gave birth to Liv, claiming that Todd was the biological father as Tyler was in the middle of his well documented drug excesses. Rundgren signed the birth certificate and acted as a father figure to Liv, including paying for her education.

At age ten or eleven, Liv met Steven Tyler and suspected he was her father due to the resemblance between her and Tyler's daughter Mia. After asking her mother, the secret was revealed. This did not become public until 1991, when she changed her surname from Rundgren to Tyler, but kept Rundgren as a middle name.

Liv and Steven have developed a close relationship, but she also maintains a close relationship with Rundgren.
