Who is the author of the song "One way ticket to the Moon"?
Many people have heard this song performed by "Eruption" in 80-s,
It is curious but the first performance of this song belongs to Neil Sedaka in 1959 and after that he was mistakenly considered to be the author of it.
In fact, the song was written by Hank Hunter & Jack Keller but in those times surprisingly it was not as popular as in 80's, it seems the authors of the song were born too early...
There is one more thing to learn, don't confuse "One way ticket to the Moon" with "Ticket to the Moon" written by Jeff Lynne and performed by Electric Light Orchestra in 1981.

The song by Hunter & Keller is titled "One Way Ticket". Dave Stewart wrote the song "One Way Ticket to the Moon". As others have noted, there is also a song with the title, "Ticket to the Moon."

WRONG "One Way Ticket To The Moon" was a song written by Dave Stewart. "One Way Ticket" is a song written by Jack Keller and Hank Hunter.

Incorrect. Dave Stewart wrote one way ticket to the moon! H&K wrote One Way Ticket!
