Sandra Annette Bullock (born July 26, 1964) is an American actress and producer. She made her acting debut with a minor role in the 1987 thriller Hangmen, and made her television debut in the film Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman (1989), and played the lead role in the short-lived NBC sitcom Working Girl.

In the 2009 film The Blind Side Bullock initially turned down the role of Leigh Anne Tuohy three times due to a discomfort with portraying a devout Christian. She was awarded the Academy Award for Best Actress, Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Motion Picture Drama, Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and Broadcast Film Critics Association Award for Best Actress. The Blind Side also received an Academy Award for Best Picture nomination.

Winning the Oscar also gave Bullock another unique distinction—since she won two "Razzies" the day before, for her performance in All About Steve (2009), she is the only performer ever to have been named both "Best" and "Worst" for the same year.

There are many who do not believe Christianity to be the only true religion Ms. Gibson Mills. In fact I have friends who do not believe Christian churches that are not their own are not really Christian, and many Baptists believe that Catholics are not Christian. The number of people tortured and murdered in the name of God is millions. Ms. bullock is an honest woman.

Donna Gibson-Mills, Acting requires a considerable amount of emotional energy & effort to understand the character the to be portrayed. Concern about being able to convincingly perform in the role is a serious consideration.

Mary Wright Pippert, very true but most people are not privy to that knowledge. If not for Constantine a Roman it wouldn't have been carried back to the Roman Catholics he was not religious just gave him an edge in battle but on his deathbed he became a Roman Catholic Christian. Then Martin Luther got it and changed much in ire of the Roman Catholic Church. This Christianity has taken many turns branching and morphing into all our other Christian religions. I believe Jesus and Mary had a movement as they were Jews putting a new twist in the Jewish religion. I even speculate that it is possible he was next in line for King and possibly the reason both the Jewish Rabbi and the Roman wanted him dead. Anytime one changes their initial religion the one it branched off of gets irate. The bible even tells you who was involved in his death but not all the hook ups..You know no country is happy with a foreigner coming in taking charge as in Romans. The Catholics changed, left out and fabricated as their were many writings on Jesus with most being locked up in their vaults as blasphemous..Even Mary Magdalene carried her bible into France still carrying out her and Jesus's movement.

Rhoda Welker Adam, Catholics are not Christian. Christian means Christ follower. Mary is not the mother of God, she is the birth mother of Jesus, and she had children after Jesus. Jesus Christ is Head of the church (the body) NOT the pope. Don’t pray to dead people or statues. The Holy Bible is the final authority, NOT the Vatican. Shall I go on?
