Dontari Poe is the heaviest football player ever to score an offensive touchdown in the Nation Football League (NFL). Poe was at least 11 pounds heavier than William "Refrigerator" Perry who held this record before Poe. Perry was 335 pounds when he crossed the goal line for a touchdown. Dontari Poe has officially weighted in at 346 pounds.

The Kansas City Chiefs' nose tackle scored from a yard off the goal line during his Sunday game. He was the fullback in a formation his team calls "Poe-Heavy".

Poe was born on the 18th of August, 1990. He didn't have any football experience before entering Wooddale High School in Memphis, Tennessee. His coach saw Dontari with the marching band and told him to report to football practice the next day.
