John Wayne was Marion Michael Morrison and James Arness played the alien Thing from outer space, so he did play a creature. Please get your facts correct.

James Arness was one of the tallest actors who didn't portray a giant or some creature in a movie! He was most famous for playing Marshall Dillon, an imposing but gentle man who every man feared but who was the fairest lawman in the country!
