Who played the female lead role of Pamela Dare in the film "To Sir, with Love"?
Judith Amanda Geeson (born 10 September 1948) is an English film, stage, and television actress. She began her career primarily working on British television series, with a leading role on "The Newcomers" from 1965 to 1967, before making her major film debut in "To Sir, with Love" (1967).
"To Sir, with Love" is a 1967 British drama film that deals with social and racial issues in an inner city school. It stars Sidney Poitier and features Christian Roberts, Judy Geeson, Suzy Kendall and singer Lulu. James Clavell directed from his own screenplay, which was based on E. R. Braithwaite's 1959 autobiographical novel of the same name.
Judy Geeson plays the character Pamela Dare. Along with Bert Denham (Christian Roberts) they behave badly: their antics range from disruptive behaviour to distasteful pranks. This causes problems for Mark Thackeray (Sidney Poitier) who has accepted a teaching post at North Quay Secondary School in the tough East End of London, as an interim position.
