In Walt Disney's "Snow White and the Steven Dwarfs" (1937), Grumpy who is one of the dwarfs says: "Angel, ha! She's a female! And all females is poison! They're full of wicked wiles!" Bashful asks, "What are wicked wiles?" Then, Grumpy answers, "I don't know, but I'm agin' 'em."

But, it is clear by what the dwarfs do that Snow White is an exception to their ideas on how women behave, she is so pure-hearted that she can't bring herself to think unkindly of anyone. This includes her stepmother, who has reduced her to being a servant, the huntsman, who is tasked to kill her, and the strange apple peddler stalked by vultures.
