The original Men in Black was a 1934 Columbia Pictures short starring Moses & Jerome Horwitz and Louis Feinberg as Doctors Howard, Fine & Howard in a hospital. Don't know them? How about Moe, Larry & Curly, aka the Three Stooges?

The trio's slapstick comedies were in such high demand that Columbia insisted that theatres book other Columbia grade B movies in order to get the shorts.

The Three Stooges released 190 shorts for the Columbia Pictures studios between 1934 and 1959. Moe & Larry remained constant, but Curly was both preceded and succeeded by Shemp, another brother, and by Joe Besser and Curly Jo DeRita.

Moe, sadly, passed on May 4, 1975. ending the Stooges. But, they will live on in our memories and on DVD.
