Who still holds the Guinness record for the longest moustache in the world as of 2021?
The longest moustache in the world which measured 4.29 m (14 ft) in 2010, belongs to Ram Singh Chauhan (India). It was measured on the sets of the Italian TV show "Lo Show Dei Record" in Rome. In the same year, it qualified as a World Record in the Guinness Book of World Records. Ram Singh, who retired as a superintendent in the tourism department, started growing his moustache in 1970 when he was in service.
Ram Singh (born on 12th February 1953) started grooming his prized possession from the year 1980 with herbal oil, soap, and shampoo. Life was not easy for Ram Singh with such a long moustache. When it was shorter, he used to wrap it around his ears. Now that it's longer, he wraps it around his neck. The length of the beard is now (in 2021) believed to be over 5.79 m (19 ft). Ram Singh has also acted in the James Bond movie ‘Octopussy’ in 1983.
