Monty Hall's sidekick on the U.S. TV game show "Let's Make A Deal" was Jay Stewart. He was the show's announcer and Hall's sidekick on the game show all throughout the 1960s and 1970s.

"Let's Make a Deal" host Monty Hall called Stewart "the best second banana you ever found in your life" and said that "it was a very, very good feeling between us." On "Let's Make a Deal," Stewart participated onstage as well as announcing. He was often seen modeling the show's "zonk" prizes.

Monty Hall co-created and hosted the first version of the popular game show. Many of the contestants would dress in costumes -- some very zany. The final contestants often won prizes behind one of three doors where Stewart would describe the prizes.
