Mark James Williams, (March 1975) is a Welsh professional snooker player who is a three-time World Champion, winning in 2000, 2003 and 2018. As the current World Champion, he is due to defend his title at the 2019 World Snooker Championship in April/May 2019. The first left-handed player ever to win the World Championship.

At the age of 43 when he won in May 2018, he became the second oldest winner of the World Championship at the Crucible in Sheffield. Often noted for his single-ball long potting ability, Williams has earned the nickname "The Welsh Potting Machine". He has been ranked the world number 1 for a total of three seasons in his career (1999/2000, 2000/2001, 2002/2003).
