George Washington is the only President that never occupied the White House. His service as the first Chief Executive of the United States of America ended in 1797. Neither did he live long enough to see it occupied as he passed away on December 14th 1799. John Adams was the first President to enjoy the Georgian style mansion when the government move to the District of Columbia in the year 1800.
