The American TV sitcom "Home Improvement" stars Tim Allen and aired on the ABC Network from September 1991 to May 1999, with a total of 204 half-hour episodes. This show span 8 seasons.

In the 1990s, it was one of the most watched sitcoms in the US. The series launched Allen's career and was the start of the TV career of Pamela Anderson. She was in the recurring cast for the first two seasons.

Each episode includes Tim's own Binford-sponsored home improvement show, called "Tool Time", a show-within-a-show. In his show, Tim is joined by his friend and mild-mannered co-host Al Borland (Richard Karn), and a "Tool Time girl"—first Lisa (Anderson) and later Heidi (Debbe Dunning)—whose main duty is to introduce the pair at the start of the TV show with the line "Does everybody know what time it is?" In reply, the audience yells, "TOOL TIME!" The Tool Time girl also assists Tim and Al during the show by bringing them tools.

Pamela Anderson (b. July 1967) was a Canadian-American model, actress, and animal rights activist who was best known for her roles on the TV shows "Home Improvement", "Baywatch" (NBC/Syndication, 1989-2001), and "V.I.P." (Syndication, 1998-2002). Born and raised in British Columbia, she obtained fame in her early 20s when she was discovered wearing a Labatt's Beer tee-shirt at a Canadian sporting event. Labatt's hired Anderson as a spokesmodel. She next worked for "Playboy" and in 1990 she moved to Los Angeles to start an acting career.
