On the 1989–1998 U.S. TV sitcom "Seinfeld", it is George Louis Costanza who works as a hand model during the comedy series. In season 5 episode 2, George moves back home and lives with his parents. His mother is driving him crazy about finding a job. As chance would have it, an encounter with an advertising and TV agent in a restaurant leads George to become a hand model. Suddenly his hands are his main concern until he has an unfortunate encounter with another person as Jerry Seinfeld is about to go on the "Today Show".

George is a key character in the American comedy "Seinfeld" and is played by Jason Alexander. He has variously been described as a "short, stocky, slow-witted, bald guy and "Lord of the Idiots" (by Costanza concerning his character). George and Jerry Seinfeld were junior high school friends and remained good friends as adults.
