The Great Gatsby is a well-known novel written by the renowned American author F. Scott Fitzgerald in 1925. The action of the novel takes place in the fictional town of West Egg located in Long Island. The main character, Jay Gatsby, is a mysterious millionaire, possessing great wealth, a luxurious residence and a lot of connection. The story concerns Gatsby's desperate love for the beautiful former debutante Daisy Buchanan, who is already a married woman.
