The Nac Mac Feegle (other known names include pictsies, Wee Free Men, Little men) are a fictional type of fairy folk that first made their appearance in the 23rd novel in the Discworld series titled " Carpe Jugulum" Written by the Late Sir Terry Pratchett, and appeared as secondary protagonists in the Tiffany Achins series that's part of the "Story of Discworld" series, to indicate its status as children's or young adult fiction, where the main Discworld series is for a more mature audience.

According to their own history, the Nac Mac Feegle rebelled against the wicked rule of the (or possibly "a") Queen of the Fairies and were therefore exiled from Fairyland. According to everyone else (including the Nac Mac Feegle themselves if they forget this story), they were kicked out for causing fights and being drunk at two in the afternoon.

The Nac Mac Feegle are a Matriarchy where the leader of the clan of almost all men, is ruled by the " Kelda" and are very similar to how bee colonies operate because when a girl feegle is born and comes of age she leaves the burial mound her clan lives in and seeks out another one to become their new Kelda, and will eventually have her entire offspring inhabit the mound.

They have their own language, which has been altered in the Tiffany Achins books to be somewhat understandable.
