No problems with this quiz thanks to really great English teachers in high school, but I find the last question horrifying. The thought of hanging a student for failing a test ?? Really - who would even think of such a statement!!!

The verb lie (intrans.), as Iie down, is being obliterated from the language in favour of lay which is the past tense of lie, or transitive verb , hens lay eggs.

lls, the correct answers are listed, in order, on the cheat sheet at the end. However, you do need to remember which answers you chose.

The test worked for me. I appreciated the cheat sheet at the end. The cheat sheet is the answers. You have to remember what you answered. 9/15 for me. I do disagree with some of the answers.
