Dossie M Terrell, I think further explanations would have helped players. Possessive pronouns show ownership before nouns. I thought they wanted the articles. When I checked, I found determiners are both possessive pronouns, articles, and adjectives like this and that, or ones that show quantity. When I was answering the question, I thought that they wanted the adjectives, so I chose three. Open is a true adjective, not a determiner, since it is not an article and does not determine quantity.

4/4. Quite tricky. Grammar was never as multi-layered as this when I was at my Grammar School in 950. 😄

I’m a lover of the English language, with all its foibles and peculiarities. I scored 4/4, but was left wondering what on earth any of this knowledge has done to help me through life. To me, all this pedantry about grammar, is an attempt to complicate something simple, in order to keep teachers in a job.

My mom learned all of this, forwards and backwards, in her school days, very early on. Me, not so much. Sadly, I could never diagram a sentence past subject and verb.
