Finally figured out the weight question after I got it wrong, lol. The picture weighs 10 lbs plus 1/2 of its weight. if the total weight is 20 lbs it is 10 lbs plus 1/2 of 20 lbs (the total weight of the picture). 10 lb + (1/2 of 20) = 20 lbs. Next time I'll get marked correct, lol

To the dimwit who set these questions. 10 plus half of its own weight (5) equals 15. Why are incorrect answers like this included - just to frustrate us quizz-lovers? Pathetic !!!

Rebecca Woods, You might approach this realizing that if you are adding 10 to the half weight to find the total weight, then 10 must also be the other half! Two halves at 10 each lead to the conclusion that the total weight is 20.

Greigg Graf, in algebra, the unknown weight of the object W. W=10+1/2*W. Subtract 1/2W from both sides. 1/2*W=10. Multiply both sides by 2. W=20
