William Laughlin, Yes. This is a simple point and exactly correct. Different is not a synonym for wrong but stop pretending that different is the only “right.” Think driving on the right/left side. UK is in the minority worldwide…is that therefore wrong?

Fahmeena, I also caught the fact that separate was used twice. Liz Van Set Kris,. The two given choices for the correct spelling were either neighbor or neibour. UK spelling of neighbour was not a choice. Sorry you got it wrong, but don't blame about the US for your mistake. This attitude is why the entire world is unfriended and miserable.

Liz Van Der Kris, You seemed to have missed something. Granted "neighbour" is the accepted British spelling, that was not the incorrect option offered. The incorrect option was spelled, " neibour". The "gh" dipthong was omitted, rendering it incorrect on both sides of the Atlantic.
