tdelisi, multiplication does not precede division. multiplication and division are of equal precedence and are done from left to right before addition or subtraction. It is more accurately PE(M or D) (A or S)

The final question has an incorrect" answer", as others have addressed. 25 Is the square of -5^2, which I truly hope the tester meant.

tdelisi, Outside of the parentheses, we do from left to right as written as division is treated the same as multiplication. Addition and subtraction are treated the same, from left to right - division is the inverse operation of multiplication and subtraction is the inverse operation of addition.
