Tien was never taught as hello in French. It is Bondurant, preferred form, or Salut. Tien is the third choice which was listed in my source which also it can be used as WHY which I was taught POURQUOI as correct form. WHAT references are they using for these things??? CHIAO is used the most often in Italian for hello & so long rather than Salve for hello ! Just saying . . . . It is not a taught form on language tapes for learning to speak either lsnguage.

Not sure about a few of these, but I get tired of reporting mistakes every single day. And I am sure they get tired of me reporting them.

I seriously question the accuracy of the supposedly correct answers.
