Lynn , I tried to point that out for years. Every time that question comes up you just have to guess because for older qiizzes it is Nile and newer qiizzes it is Amazon.

Alaska is part of the Continental US. When I was in Alaska I was 3 hours behind Central time. That would be mountin, pacific, and Alaska times. Add Eastern time and you have 5 time zones. If all of Alaska had been properly divided into time zones like the rest of the US it would be 8 on the continent and another one for the the Alutian Islands.

Amazon River is the longest river in the world NOT the Nile.

18/20 I had to work for that 90%! But...I enjoyed it and the answers being provided. Thank you...

17/20. One better than last time!

rkcorrigan, Oh really, that just happened huh? We woke up this morning and miraculously the Amazon river grow longer in length than the Nile. You're obviously unaware of what's going on.

Hardest quiz ever? Don’t think so, 20/20 but there’re wrong with USA time zones.

Cindi McCarthy, It asked for continental US

Cindi McCarthy, The question on the time zones needs to be read correctly. CONUS is the question. Alaska and Hawai'i are not mentioned as included.
Cindi McCarthy
11 and 12 are wrong. Amazon is the longest River, and there are 6 time zones with Alaska and Hawaii

Richard Hoff,
The lower 48 states are called "contiguous".

#11 The Amazon is now the longest river in the world. This has also been shown by other similar questions in different packages on this venue of which the correct answer is shown as the Amazon.

16 / 20. Not really! This is a fairly basic quiz. I too wish that the question on the world’s longest river is removed! One better than last time though!

#12 is incorrect when AK is included; AK is part of the continent.
