Trixie - Rose, and the question stated "This landmark's name means "Sacred Rock, the high city". I would think that the rock is the hill! The Parthenon is a building, not a rock.

#4 has a photo that is not Angkor Wat, it is the Bayonne, located in the nearby ruined city of Angkor Thom. It is true that Angkor Wat is on Cambodia's currency.

DPickard, No, the Eiffel Tower is NOT taller than the Empire State Building. At one time the Eiffel Tower was the world's tallest structure. It lost that standing when the Chrysler Building was completed on 27 May 1930. Not quite a year later (11 months), the Empire State Building was completed on May 1, 1931 and it exceeded the height of the Chrysler Building to be the new world's tallest structure.

Steve Hicks, You have no idea how large the Sydney Opera House is! The tallest sail is equivalent to a 20 story building. It is a huge complex. I have found at least 3 sources that confirm the 1000-room statistic.
