How Much Do You Know About Earth's Natural Features?

A canyon may be a valley but it is a very specific kind. It is very a valley that is very narrow with steep slopes on both sides. I live in a valley that is very wide and has gentle slopes on each side. It's called the red river valley.

Karin Johansson, I used to think so too Karin, but a biased Brazilian group of scientists have tried to insinuate that they're discovery of the Nile is shorter in length than the Amazon is just that, biased, but it's not official and the Brazilians have probably pushed those numbers in their favor but The Nile is still the longest river by most credible studies by some 130 miles or 150 km. However, Quizzclub does need to address this on-going dilemma.

One quiz will tell you the Amazon is the longest River but another tells you it’s the Nile??

Make up your mind. Half the quizzes says that the Nile is the longest river and half says that it is the Amazon

Yeah, I got the bison one wrong too. Then I reminded myself that this was a test about geology and features of land and water.

I believe the Nile is the longest river and the Amazon is the largest in terms of volume of water.
