10/10. Although I don't agree with the old longest River Answer. I was always taught it was the Nile, when we visited Egypt they said so, and if you Google it, it says The Amazon is 6,400 km, The Nile is 6,650 km. So as us Brits say " Stick that in your Pipe and Smoke it".

Amazon discharge is larger. Only wish a definite answer would be given by some authority

Oh right….the longest river question! Well, it is extremely easy to answer that one, let me check: Today is Thursday, it is a leap year and the groundhog saw its shadow, so it must be the Amazon. There’s nothing like a solid scientific approach.

Quiz Master, the longest river in the world is the Amazon. Before, the Nile river was the longest. Is this on a 5 years basis whoever in charge of measurement and then after they might change again. I used to answer the Nile suddenly the Amazon. Confusing!

Time to remove the longest river question. Latest satellite technology says the Amazon is longer, not sure I believe it though as I was always taught the Nile is longer. Perhaps use which river holds the most water.
